Paul C.H. Li
B.Sc., Chemistry and Physics - University of Hong Kong
M.Sc., Ph.D., Analytical Chemistry, University of Toronto
Associate Professor - Simon Fraser University
Dr. Paul Li obtained his Ph.D at the University of Toronto in 1995. Then he developed microfluidic lab-on-a-chip at the University of Alberta. Dr. Li started to work at City University of Hong Kong, and then he joined Simon Fraser University in 1999. Dr. Li is interested in integrating microfluidics with the DNA microarray for pathogen detection and DNA-based diagnostics. Dr. Li has also conducted single cell analysis for analyzing chemical compounds from herbs, especially those with anti-tumor properties. Dr. Li has published a monograph of " Microfluidic lab-on-a-chip for chemical and biological analysis and discovery", CRC Press, 2006.
